Another weekend is approaching, you want to go somewhere, maybe abroad, you want to see something new and not drink coffee again in your village square or in the same place you go again and again but on the other hand you don’t have a fortune to spend. Don’t worry I’m coming to save you and suggest the perfect low budget 3 day destinations. Let’s go!

Sophia, Bulgaria

Close by, beautiful and rising capital Sofia can offer you exactly what you want to experience. Quite economical in both accommodation and food, safe and clean as a city, with several (but not infinite) sights of archaeological and historical interest, it is a city that can easily keep you relaxed and on the go at the same time.

Bucharest , Romania.

Another rising destination, with many hidden secrets, a little “kitsch” but very economical is Bucharest, Romania. It is in my plans to visit him soon and learn all about his Dracula birthplace. Don’t stay too long in Bucharest, as the good part is in the small colored towns of Brasov, Sighisoara and some that reflect the true Romanian countryside.

Malta

malta

A small treasure hiding somewhere in the center of the Mediterranean, Europe’s smallest state, Malta is waiting for you to get to know it. I guarantee you that three days is not enough to learn all of its secrets but it is certainly enough to fall in love with it. Arabian aesthetics with Italian and French touches, ultra-rich history (here you can see a monument older than the pyramids) awesome food and quite affordable, it is the perfect destination for sun lovers as it is one of the most seasoned countries sunshine in the world!

Istanbul, Turkey.

So close and yet so different, this city is unique. Three days is certainly not enough, but they are ok for a first acquaintance, with entirely different people, in terms of culture, morals and customs. The food is indescribable, as you will surely imagine and many historical sights! Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Bosporus Bridge and seagulls flying at sunset, images that will remain etched in your mind forever.

Zagreb , Croatia

DCIM100GOPRO

Far from the crowds flooding its beaches and the famed Dubrovnik every year, the country’s largely neglected Zagreb is the capital. A city with a mysterious vibe, great graffiti and great food and just three hours away from one of Europe’s oldest national parks, Plitvice Park.

Warsaw, Poland

Of course my beloved Poland could not be left out, as for me it is one of the most value for money countries, it will generously offer you its beauties and you will not need to spoil a fortune. A capital city with many museums and history around World War II, a beautiful park full of downtown squirrels and delicious soups, this town is a quick getaway!

Budapest , Hungary

Perhaps one of the capitals I would come back to again and again, as it has so many things to do that once is definitely not enough. Her awesome baths are the absolute reason to visit her first, her special food and very lively nightlife is one of the reasons you want to go again. The Fisherman’s Dock and Parliament are just some of the city’s must see.
