Dots Shoes is located in one of the most picturesque and colorful Squares of the city of Corfu, in Town Hall Square and specifically at Guilford 59. Dots Shoes store opened its doors about five years ago and since then these wonderful sandals have left, and continue to leave their mark not only in Corfu, but also throughout Greece and abroad as they have been loved for their quality, their special designs, colors and incomparable style. Dimitris’s small but very tasteful shop was created so that it could hold the essentials. His colorful sandals, and a corner where you will find him every day designing new pieces, repairing or painting, or simply observing the city, getting inspiration for new designs.

Dimitris has studied Economics and Photography, however after working in a sandal factory while he was a student, he was won over by shoemaking and the art of creation and design. He returned to Athens to study again at facilities related to shoe design and manufacturing and after his return to Corfu, he created Dots Shoes, initially in the wholesale part and then opening his own store.

Dimitris believes there is something magical about the way raw materials end up becoming a “work of art”. He believes in the uniqueness of handmade, supports “ethical” fashion and feels lucky to be doing what he loves. Each pair of sandals takes about an hour and a half to make and has its own uniqueness and character.

The sandals you will find at Dots Shoes are made entirely from top quality Italian leathers, created and dyed by hand. They are made in such a way that they hug the foot naturally and provide comfort at all hours of the day.

You can choose between many colors and designs (although it won’t be that easy) and if you want something more specific, then Dimitris can create it for you. At the moment the store only has women’s sandals, but in the future plans are also leather women’s espadrilles as well as men’s sandals.

I was won over by the wonderful purple color and also by the gray sandal with the special laces.
